Anytime my dogs start a howling chorus that goes on too long or barking fest I tap on whatever window I’m near, open it, and tell them to “knock it off”. Well on Halloween I just stayed home and handed out candy to the kids. Most of them teens that didn’t even bother to dress up. – When the first or second group of kids came by and knocked on the door Gandalf told them, “knock it off!” 
He’s so rude. I don’t have a clue where he gets it from.
