Yes, they interviewed someone in a white coat on the local news the other day, who also swore you can't get the flu from the flu shot. She said that what likely has happened when you get sick shortly after getting the shot is you've already been infected and it was incubating, then you coincidentally get sick after the shot was given. Her "proof" for that was that the incubation time it takes (from infection to signs of illness) is much longer than the 1 to 3 days people report illness after the shot. But I am skeptical. Anyway, sorry you're sick. I do hope Sophia stays well, and you kick it quickly. Yikes!
