Dignified news

I was watching King5 News this morning. Tim Robinson, a “feature reporter” was announcing the arrival of a Roman art exhibit. He made this announcement on site dressed in a white sheet fashioned as a toga and saying, “Come down and see all this old stuff.” I’m not an art aficionado, but “old stuff”? Are you kidding me? I could be wrong, but I’m guessing that’s why don’t seem to get many of these art exhibits around here.

  1. I swear I am giving up on most news casts, especially local ones. Our local station tonight did an entire segment on how they were trying to track down this woman who was going to be on TV but couldn’t find her. That was it! Them admitting to not being able to find a local woman who was going to be on TV tonight. Excuse me? I have better things to do.

  2. Yeah that’s just like the all-day reports on local news when something has actually happened. The problem is that they update you every hour regardless of any actual changes. Drives me nuts!
