I have been in your position at numerous times when any of my children were in their infant/toddler stages. The first time I saw my boy sick I was so scared because it came out of no where much like your child. I think you went about it in the right way: You just wanted all of out of the baby's system. It is surprising how much food and drink can come out of a baby. It actually made me question to the extent I was feeding my eldest. I later swayed a little because of the amount almost passing out, but luckily my other half was there and he almost literally caught me: Baby in hand. I was glad that later on you wrote on hos she was doing better. I wish it were actually feasible to keep sickness away from children. I would gladly give up myself and be sick in lieu of any of my boys. The best any of us can do is continue to love unconditionally and care for our children the best we can. You're a great mommy: No disputing that.

Thank you Skittles and Sarah! :) She was doing better on Tuesday. Still not eating much but at least she was holding down her food and today she was mostly back to normal - maybe a little sleepy but that's it.

If you ever have any questions and the office isn't open, feel free to call us. That's what we do, and we hear from moms in situations like this every day. Poor baby! You were probably worse off than her though, seeing your baby so sick. That's hard :-( Well, if you ever call, you'll have to give some demographic info, but it's all free and confidential, so no worries there. I'll e-mail you the number...
