Sophia doesn't get much contact with them though. Just when Shadowbear gets comfortable she crawls over quickly to pull out another clump of fur (and as a Chow he has a lot). You should see the look on his face at night when she goes to bed, pure joy! He has always liked little kids too, but I think he is rethinking that. The cat is actually pretty tolerant of Sophia, but he was declawed as a kitten because I knew I wanted kids and didn't want a little scarface baby.
