Baby Squeezins: Diaper of the Month

This month there were three contenders for the prestigious title of “Diaper of the Month”. Two of them were of the peanut butter consistency that seems to up the gross factor by at least tenfold even without the smell adding to the equation. But for a change of pace I though I would show how the diapers are evolving from an elephant snot like goop to somewhat formed poop now that Sophia has finally taken to enjoying some solid foods.

One of her favorite foods is sweet potato, but as any true poopologist would know, this picture doesn’t show the result of a sweet potato meal. Those tend to be redish orange and have a thick paste or clay like consistency. This poop is from a mixture of solid foods, a true sign of her evolution.

Taken August 12th with my Nikon D60 for your high resolution pleasure this months highly coveted, “Baby Squeezins – Diaper of the Month” goes to this semi-formed brown dropping.

Oh yes I did! Every 25th I post the monthly diaper. This one marks her eleven month birthday. Yep, next month – ONE WHOLE YEAR. :)

I think we need a retrospective in honor of the one year mark. Chloe hits that mark this Friday. Wish I had done this…great for blackmail purposes later on…bwahahaha

Aah. Just got back from the portrait studio for her first professonal photos, lift the car seat out of the base and saw…a poopy stew. No pictures necessary. All I can say is thank you for waiting until after the photo shoot or we too might have had a squeezins moment ;)

@Susan Anderson: You had poopy stew in the carseat base?! How? Also, happy birthday to Chloe!

@Sophia: Happy 11-month birthday, Sophia! Can’t wait ’till our real birthdays next month! (I’m still mad at you for not waiting another day so we could celebrate on the same day, by the way… *growl*)

@Erica: Thank you for honoring us with the high resolution poop. That’s love.

smarmoofus : Let’s just say patient Chloe must have been sitting in a very wet diaper (after having to wait an extra hour and a half due to every other baby crying), kindly left a *gift* for mommy and daddy to mark the occasion, and then let forth the floodgates. All of which created a river of pooh that *kindly* went right through the seat and dripped, *lovingly*, into the base.

Susan Anderson – *sigh* work work work. Kurt read your post and liked the idea, now he’s bugging me about it. Maybe I’ll hold out for a Dirty Kurtie tune. :P

Happy Birthday to Chloe! Are you doing something big for the one year mark or just keeping it in the family?

What? You didn’t take it in and ask for another photo shoot WITH the poop stew? How could you pass up a poop stew photo shoot. That’s something that can go in the senior high school yearbook! ;-)

It’ll just be us and Chloe’s great grandmother who is coming down from New York. She will have the requisite smash cake with her Cookie Monster on it. Also, hubby is dragging her down to Build a Bear tomorrow. Personally, I think Build a Bear is for him although he says he will let her pick which one she wants. I’m laying bets on daddy, I mean Chloe, coming home with a stuffed husky or kitty ;)

As for the poop, she waited until we got home to grace us with her gift. She seemed quite pleased with herself too. I should have stopped Henry for a pic but he seemed intent on hosing down the car seat and almost considered hosing down the baby too *lol*
