Inside Voice

Tonight we went out for Thai food at a fairly quiet restaurant.  I don’t mean that no one was there. There were four or five other tables of people, but it was quiet.  Sophia was comfortable enough to change that.   “Ah da da da!”  She said happily.  Kurt and I look at each other.  “shshshshshshshsh” We told her.  “Ah da da DA!”  She said again.  We smiled at each other.  “Shshsh Use your inside voice, no wait your outside voice is quieter,” Kurt said.  “Ah da da da da DA da.”

“You have to be quiet, don’t be like daddy, be like mommy.”  Kurt says.

“eeeeeEEEEE!”  She shrieked.

Kurt and I laughed, “Well, that is what mommy sounded like last night.” He said.

limes latest blog post… Friday 40 & Da Count

  2. G-Man – Kurt insists that I say it’s much bigger than a mouse. :P

Sophia’s been vocalizing for quite a while. She’s not talking yet, but doing a lot of babbling or “baby talk”. She just doesn’t vocalize much in public.

  3. Susan Anderson – Sophia is really ‘reserved’. She usually shuts right up when we’re in public. Maybe she’s not the shy girl we thought she was turning into. Damnit! LOL :P

  4. lime – You’re welcome and I hope you had a great birthday. ;-)

You aren’t kidding!! Although, I’ve been with Kurt for nearly ten years so it’s very hard for him to shock me. What I posted was actually pretty mundane for for him, which is why he makes such great blog fodder. *evil grin*
