Because she’s been eating mostly bread, this months’ diaper isn’t one in a million, but one of many. Since she’ll only eat one solid type food reliably, I try to make it a healthy choice. I looked all over for a bread that doesn’t have high-fructose corn syrup yet tastes good (Sophia and I like it). It is of course found in the “dirty hippy vegan” section of the grocery store. The bread I buy for her isn’t made from flour. It’s made from sprouted wheat grain and the version I buy is called “squirrel bread” for all the finely chopped up sunflower seeds in it. Why am I telling you this? See for yourself. I think I can see little bits of undigested squirrel in there.

Have you tried frozen peas? We warm them up and Chloe loves feeding it to herself.
Another recent addition, that surprised me, is Lipton Knorr a spicy cajun rice (Ithink) with red beans. We added a can of organic red beans to it when it was almost done cooking and Chloe loved it. Mommy and daddy didn’t think it was too bad either.
Also, were lucky that we get free range eggs for free (Hens parents live in Delaware and have a managerie) and she loves eating hard boiled ones broken up.
It is hard coming up with healthy options, especially when everyone asks us, why don’t you just give her the pizza or nuggets you are eating? No thanks. It may be too late for us, but not too late for Chloe

I am a bit surprised to see the Diaper of the Month continuing, too. Will you do this until she’s potty trained, then? Oh! And do we get to see pics of her first pee-in-the-potty and poo-in-the-potty? Fun!
