Susan Anderson - I'm hardly perfect. We all do our best. I'm sure Chloe will figure out that pinching and biting aren't the best ways to socialize. We're getting better with eating now I'm focusing on a little more variety like maybe some vegetables. :P Sophia still drinks from a bottle 100% of the time. I'm right there with you on that one. If you come up with any ideas let me know. ;-)

ciara - Yeah I don't agree with making different meals for the picky eaters. If they don't eat they must not be that hungry! ;-)

Although if it turns out that Sophia doesn't like cilantro like her grandpa I might make two versions of the same dish.

See? It's true.. try it, you might like it. But I still resent the time I told my mother I had tried cooked carrots, more than once, and I did not like them. And she still insisted I eat them again, or at least taste them. I don't know why she wouldn't believe me... I didn't lie as a child. I didn't even stand up to her very much. Why couldn't she accept it when I did? Anyway, it ended with her pinning me to the floor and forcing my mouth open to smear cooked carrots across my teeth so I had to taste it... immediately following that skirmish, I gagged on the flavor 'til I threw up. She never forced me to try anything again.

On the other hand, I force myself to try things, because I don't want to be one of Those People. I'm an adult... I can try new things. And I even re-taste things that didn't go over well the first time, in hopes that my taste buds have changed since then. Unfortunately, as much as I want to, I still don't like pumpkin pie. *sigh*

You are a better mommy than me. Everytime Chloe bites or pinhes us (yes, she pinches now and laughs at you if you say ow) I tell her, you know Chloe, nobody is going to want to be your friend if you bite or pinch them. In fact, two of her "boyfriends" now run when they see her coming. They are traumatized! Good luck with the eating thing. We're still having no luck with sippy cups for milk :(
