55 Flash Fiction Friday: Furry Gargoyle

He’ll leave the room and then meow as if he’s lost. He whines incessantly. There are days I want to drop kick him down the stairs.

You make my ass twitch

But on quiet nights when I want company, he’s there, always. As if he’s my regal protector. The bastard is just trying to make me feel guilty isn’t he?

  1. Bailey is looking quite dashing in this photo. I forgive him for getting himself shut in Sophia’s room while she was napping that time and meowing so loudly I thought he was gonna wake her up.

  2. They say you don’t really own a cat.
They just allow you to feed them……

Thanks for playing this week Erica, we missed you.
And if you see that missing Smarmoofus, ask her to do a 55 this week, OK?

Thanks for visiting and commenting, and have a GREAT Week-End…G

  3. Yes he is! I was having a bad day at work (that darn boss ) and your cat cheered me right up. They are great at making you feel guilty for complaining about them, aren’t they? For all of the fur balls I’ve stepped in, smelly run out of the room litter boxes (that Henry cleans, lol), or jumping on my bladder at three in the morning, there is always something nice about them that makes me love them. Wait, who am I kidding. Want some cats? *snicker*

  4. Reminds me of my “Princess.” Always, always in my way. Wants ice in her FRESH water every morning. And always there cuddled up with me at night. Never leaves my side if I am ever sick. My baby. Cool. D
