55 Flash Fiction Friday: Death with Dignity

Requiring terminally ill to linger in pain is cruel. What’s the point of a ‘death with dignity’ law if medical practitioners aren’t required to participate? Doctors claim a ‘do no harm’ clause, but opting for lethal doses of medication isn’t different from opting out of a beneficial medication, which has always been a legal choice.

  2. This did pack a lot of punch in a small space. Very powerful and gripping stuff. I love it when you get on your soap box. Makes me feel less lonely on mine, lol.

    • Susan Anderson – hahaha that’s nothing. I really get on the Soapbox when I do open forum blogging vs. limiting to 55, but I find I stay more focused on the 55′s. :P
