55 Flash Fiction Friday: Simply Attention to Detail

Watching a show on luxury yachts, they went over the details of the dining area of a yacht and I said, “two hundred thousand a week and they can’t hire someone to straighten the candle sticks?” Kurt looks at me and says, “Sounds like you’re ready to be rich. You’re a pain in the ass.”

  1. Ouch. Time to check the small print on the wedding certificate. To hear or read my non-PC illustrated Friday 55 click here. Warning you may have to read the footnote after to make sense of it!

  2. Aaaaaaahhhh….

  3. Ha! Hey Kurt … I’m still waiting for more tunes. *tapping foot* With all that wit I demand more tunes. Maybe set to a Lady Gaga song? hehehe Erica, I think my house would make you twitch.. LOL

    • Susan – I was in the Navy and I used to be a maid. Nothing really shakes me, and I don’t judge how others keep their house unless it really smells fowl and/or I see poop on the floor. The cleaning of my own house is more of an OCD thing. I only noticed the candles on the show because they were doing closeups of the dining area and they mentioned how much it would cost to rent the boat for a week. For such a high dollar amount I’d really expect more attention to detail. ;-)
